Welcome to SDL! I really like that cold look on her. Although I'd be apprehensive dueling you, hope you have fun here!

ok, ill walk ya thru it..
first, u find someone u wanna duel. then u ask them blah blah blah.
after u ask them u both decide on a bunch of conditions. these conditions range from type of duel, type of comic, time allowed on drawing, color or no color, etc. Remember, all the conditions are set by the both of you.
here are some examples of each condition...
Duels:
duels range from the traditional "FIGHTS" where ur OC and ur opponent's OC dish it out and beat each other up, end result- u winning to drinking contests, bandit slaying, thumb wars... w/e u can think of as a competition. BOTH you and your opponent must do the same theme. your stories dont have to necessarily match, but if ur doin a drinking contest, they gotta do a drinking contest.
types of comics:
theres the traditional manga page style (with individual pages or all the pages in one long narrow strip), "Splash" pages (ONE page, ONE panel. Basically a dynamic shot of the action, most of the time the finishing blow. the more dynamic, the better), and w/e else u want. you can ask for a limit on pages or panels if u'd like (like you can say "3 pages only" and both of you can only do a comic of maximum of 3 pages.)
time allowed on drawing:
basically a time limit on the completion of your comic (for example "2 weeks" means you have two weeks to start and complete your comic). USE this unless you know you're going to be busy. If you fail to start your comic at the end of the time limit, you lose by "forfeit" and the other person automatically wins no matter what (unless they didn't do it either.) in the case that you need more time, u can ask your opponent for a time extension.
anyways, its allot easier then that giant blob of words i just wrote for you is. You dont have to have each of these requirements, but they're just options that u can use or might run in to.
Also, unless u agree to do so at a different time, note Roninsultramix about your duel and the title (if u decided on one) and time limits (if there are any) after you agree on the duel and conditions. He'll post it up in the "Current Duels" section and eventually after the time limit or you both finish, it'll be judged and the results will be posted in the "Current Winners" section.
